Building With Insulated Metal Panels

As a contractor or builder, you have a responsibility to give your customers the most innovative and cost effective products on the market. It’s your job to know the right products to sell, to the right people, at the right price. When building roofs and walls for warehouses and other commercial spaces, consider insulated metal wall panels for premium protection from a variety of external factors.

Insulated metal panels are injected with polyurethane. Typically injected through two panels of aluminum or steel, the polyurethane is injected as liquid-like foam, and as it dries, it expands to fill the entire cavity with no gaps. The added panel and security of the unique triple layer design allow for extreme protection from weather damage, theft, and accidents that can occur in and around the workplace. Plus, you can offer your customers a wide variety of design options, as there is no shortage of color and finished textures for these insulated metal panels, providing elegant design for a variety of architectural needs. Now your clients can enjoy the peace of mind they get with sturdy construction and state of the art protection, with sleek and elegant design. What’s more, despite their multi-layer composite, these panels are lightweight, and easy to install. The convenience of having a product that doesn’t take time to install means less construction time for your clients, cutting their overall project costs. The insulated metal panels also come in an assortment of brands, including Benchmark and Metl-Span. Different brands means different price points and choices for you and your clients. Elegant design, with added security? Your clients truly can have it all with insulated metal panels.

How to Split-Test Offline Ads

As a business owner, you want to constantly test which ads are performing and pick a “winner” to promote to the larger public. Online, this is easy because of the tracking tools available to measure clicks and sales numbers. However, when dealing with offline ads, you have to be a bit more creative to see which ads are performing best.

Here are some ways to always know which one of your ads is doing better.

1. Use different phone numbers.

If your company has a good phone system, you’ll be able to set up multiple lines, and have half your ads go to “Line 1,” and the other half go to “Line 2,” for example. If your phone service offers this, and you can set up tracking, this is easily the best way because it doesn’t require anything more from your customer than calling in the first place. If you can’t use totally different phone numbers, you can use different extensions, but this places more work on the customer to get it right.

2. Use different names for your customer to ask for.

Have you ever seen a classified ad that ends in “Ask for Rita” or “Ask for Joey”? Usually it’s not to get you to the right department, but to track what ad made you pick up the phone and call. There is no Joey or Rita, but there is a smart receptionist writing down what name you asked for. This is an especially good tactic for ads for jobs, where a dedicated applicant will be sure to follow the instructions on the ad. However, this can also work for mail order offers, especially if you put below the phone number “For a discount, ask for Rita.”

3. Use a code.

Five Business Networking Tips

Many people take business networking for granted. While some businesses do just fine without it, most of these businesses would flourish much better with it. Networking involves building contacts from all sorts of backgrounds. They may be able to help your business now, or maybe you’ll do business with them in the future, or maybe you’ll just need them for a small deal. Whatever the reason, it pays to network! Having this group is very useful.

1. Don’t Discriminate

The number one tip to networking is not to discriminate. Don’t be rude or less than polite to a person just because you feel you’ll never need them. In the business world, you never know when you’ll need to contact people from all walks of life and from various businesses. So just make as many contacts as you can regardless of their job description.

2. Go to Parties

When you are networking, you can’t be a wallflower. Go to parties whenever you’re invited. It’s a great way to meet people and to expand your network. Remember to be social. Introduce yourself first if necessary.

3. Do Favors

Strengthen the ties of your network by doing favors for people. When you do someone a favor, they will appreciate it and be more willing to help you out if you ever need the help. Many businesses on the verge of failing have been saved by some person the business owner helped out once upon a time. So do good, it will always be to your benefit!

4. Get in Touch with Old Friends
