Coaching Programs: Three Main Parts
The joy of helping others in making their aspirations into reality is the keystone of a career in coaching. In the coaching profession, one can amplify another person’s skills and abilities by following and implementing few basic rules. The programs are being structured by the people who have been in the industry for many years of practice.
During the coaching programs, the three main parts are:
Preparation
In sports, business or any fields, training programs are not just implemented right on the spot. Any coaching programs can be applied in different fields should always start with the preparation which can be done through planning. As a coach, he has to prepare or sort out his client or trainee’s personalities or skills in order to use the coaching method that works best for them. It serves as the first phase in which short and long duration training exercises are being carefully laid out. These programs are actually prepared already, yet from time to time, changes occur as new things always happen which are brought out of the fast changing technology and the lifestyle of individuals. Therefore, in most cases, the planning system should consider to tweak some parts, thus making the whole duration of the coaching process efficient in producing certified well-trained or well-coached individuals.
Implementation
This is the body of the coaching programs in which the actual trainings begin like workshops, one on one sessions or whatever activity in line with the whole duration of the training. This is somehow similar to a series of courses because it involves the principles of education, instructions, explanation, demonstrations and the use of effective questioning to determine the trainees level of awareness and extra capabilities.
Assessment
Assessment is the last phase of the programs. It is when the trainees are being evaluated and see how far they have absorbed and improved on their skills. Through examinations and other specified tests, assessment or evaluation can be done. This can also be the basis in the adjustment of the participant’s coaching programs and the coaching method implemented.
